Born and raised in the western suburbs of Chicago, Jeff moved to the Los Angeles area at the age of twenty to study motion film and media. While earning his Bachelors degree in the film industry, Jeff also studied the craft of still photography.

Attending several Master lighting workshops and learning from great cinematographers such as Roger Deakins, Wally Pfister, and John Schwartzman, Jeffs' eye for capturing a beautiful image grew into an art all his own.

 

 

During the past ten years, Jeff has been putting his influences to work defining his own style. Driven by natural light and one source lighting, his photography is influenced by defined shadows, deep blacks, and heavy contrast.
